Six months in American oak barrels give extra personality to this interesting blend of Grenache Graciano and Merlot. A bright intense red. The Grenache and Merlot deliver plenty of red fruit oomph, with the delicately scented Graciano largely responsible for the floral overtones. Look out for hints of vanilla and cocoa too. It's well-balanced, oily and ample in the mouth, yet lively and joyful (and the low cost will bring a smile to your lips too).

A powerful young wine, slightly oaky, with fantastic aromas of red berries. Even though this is a young wine, it is full of character with enough aromas and taste to compete with a much more mature wine. Three months in French oak have given it good strong aromas of red fruits and a superior taste of jams and spices. Very long aftertaste. Definitely worth a try - the sort of wine that is all the more delightful for respecting your pocket!
The wines of Calatayud in Zaragoza are now beginning to show their true potential and this fantastic wine proves it. Produced with 100% Grenache grapes specially selected for the job, Bodegas San Alejandro has crafted a wine that has fresh aromas of red fruits and jams with a full body and very good tannins. This is a fat, oily good-natured wine that is full of flavour and good value too.
