Campante White

A dry northern white with distinguishing Palomino notes, very fine and intense but not too fruity. The taste is very fresh with an edge of bitterness. Good with white fish.

This is a very nice blend of Palomino and Torrontes, two very distinctive grapes from this area. The wines from this D.O. are generally very soft and pleasant but not short of aromas and after taste. Superb value for money.

Marques de Vizhoja 2007

A very gentle white, with hints of flowers, herbs and a touch of white fruits, this is a lovely, versatile wine made from Albarino grapes. If you've been searching for the perfect light summer wine that will go with anything - particularly shellfish - and anyone, this could be the one! Soft aromas of green and white fruits, very gentle on the palate with refined tones of fruits and herbs. Even the beautiful bottle looks good on pristine summer tablecloths and picnic rugs. All in all, great value for money.

Prado Rey Verdejo 2008

This wine, with appealing greenish tones, features varietal aromas from Verdejo on a complex background and exotic fruit with aniseed hints. It gives an unctuous, fleshy, fat impression in the mouth with a very pleasant aftertaste. As a good white wine, it is ideal to be enjoyed as an aperitif before meals or to accompany rice-dishes, seafood and obviously fish.

Morgadio 2007

A big wine from a small, but perfectly formed, estate. This classy Albarino has deep aromas of exotic fruits with an edge of flowers and herbs. Dry and very tasty. Morgadio produce only two wines of which this Albarino is the best. The fruits and fine herbs mixed in the aroma make this wine very pleasant with peaches, apricots and almonds on the palate and a dry, long aftertaste. Highly recommended with shellfish and any white fish - and if you can resist the temptation, this is a wine that ages well.

Martin Codax 2006

A super, food-friendly white from rainy Galicia! This is a superior white wine, romantically named after a medieval Galician troubadour. It is rich, elegant, dry and crisp with everything you would want to find in a good Alvarino. Intense white fruit aromas, a background of fennel and fine herbs. Very tasty and fresh with an edge of green apples and a touch of citrus. Alvarino is an ideal complement to any seafood dish such as blackened scallops, grilled oysters or salmon. Good with a variety of summer salads and pastas too. Also serves terrifically well as a classy drink in its own right!
