Soft and well-balanced, this Manzanilla Solear is made exclusively from Palomino Fina grapes and aged in cellars located in different parts of Sanlucar de Barrameda. Very clean with a lovely pale yellow colour and subtle green tones, Barbadillo is extraordinarily dry to the palate but with a smooth and harmonious aftertaste. It is of course, a fantastic aperitif with any tapa - shellfish, olives, cured ham - and to accompany consommes. You might also try it as a table wine with fish and rice dishes. Sheer pleasure.
This is the lightest of all our sherries, and perfect for anyone who does't like their Manzanilla too strong. The grape is 100% Palomino, and the sherry is a clear, pale yellow colour with hints of vivid green. Smooth, harmonious and persistent, with hints of almond and olive on the nose. Perfect with tapas, or simply as an aperitif.
La Guita is one of Spain's top-selling aperitifs. Wander in to any tapas bar in Spain at the end of the day and the Manzanilla people will be drinking will most probably be La Guita. Elegant and fresh, light and tasty this is from one of the oldest established houses in Sanlucar de Barrameda. A superb aperitif with a fresh tangy flavour and layers of fruit, it's a must before that special meal. Try it chilled and you'll be a fan for life.
A must! One of the best Manzanillas from one of the top producers in the area, this Emilio Lustau Manzanilla Papirusa is an excellent aperitif. Slightly more expensive than some, but worth every penny, this is a superior wine, light straw in colour, with a crisp, bone dry, clean taste and a tang of saltiness. Manzanilla Sherries are young wines that should not be aged or they will lose their fresh vivaciousness. What better excuse to get the cheese out! Best served chilled.
This is a very fine dry sherry wine, aged in oak barrels, full of hazelnut aromas from Emilio Lustau, one of Spain's best sherry bodegas. In the case of their Oloroso, they are second to none so if you're keen on the wines of Sherry-Jerez, you must try this Don Nuno. It is the best companion ever for desserts or as an aperitif. And if you've never tried it chilled, you must! It's gorgeous and quite likely to make you happily over do it in the dessert stakes.
