Super aromas of ripe black fruits with hints of vanilla and wood - this smooth, tasty red, aged in French oak is named after the market town of Penafiel, which means faithful rock. Colour is a deep cherry, taste is very intense but mellow, and the wine has a very long finish. Uncomplicated and yet elegant, this really is a wine that repays your faith in it!
A young wine that spends 6 months in American oak to develop full body and a clean cut character. Another great example of a very well made young wine from this area, made from a blend of Tinto Fino, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Deep red in colour with a complex aroma of red fruits, flowers and leather. Mouthfuls of taste and a long finish.
A classic Tempranillo Reserva from Rioja that conjures memories of Spain with every glass. After well over a year in French oak followed by a further two years in the bottle, this Reserva becomes a complex wine that unfolds to reveal very fine aromas of ripe red and black fruits, especially plums.
