A very fresh and pleasing white with a brilliant soft yellow colour that seems to capture the Mediterranean sunshine and reward you with the intense aroma of ripe white fruits. This is a superb Blanc de Blancs from Emporda-Costa Brava - the wine region in the northeast corner of Catalonia, separated from the French Roussillon region only by the French border. It has good acidity, a flowery edge, very good taste and a corner of bitterness. This won't disappoint and it will give any table you sit down to with a fish, paella or risotto dish, a place in the sun!
Loads of fruity aromas, dry, and rich, this is a well-made match of Macabeo - that classic grape of Rioja - and a touch of Chardonnay. All the wonderful aromas of Macabeo but with the touch of leather so typical of the Chardonnay grape. Long finish. A very interesting white and an excellently priced partner to perk up casseroles or grilled fish, risottos, shellfish and salads.
This lovely Brut Reserva from Castillo Perelada is an excellent Cava that you can enjoy without burning a hole in your pocket. It has a slightly lemony nose to match its pale yellow colour. The fine, sparkling bubbles just reinforce the impression of an elegant, well-balanced Cava - easily one of the best you can buy if you want the genuine Cava experience without having to dig too deep. Real value for money.
A truly amazing white and, as with most whites from Priorat, a little bit special. The blend of Macabeo, Moscatel and Grenache produces a complex and aromatic wine with a superior taste of tropical fruits and white flowers. And the lovely thing is, you may be one of the few people lucky enough to rave about it to your friends. The winery only produce 4,000 bottles of this wonderfully dry fresh white! Goes beautifully with fish, paella, pasta, white meats and soft cheese.

A smooth Cava with a balanced and very refreshing acidity made by a winery whose 90 hectares have always been passed down to a Raventos heir since 1497. So they know what they are doing! Made from a super combination of Macabeo, Xarel-lo and Perelada grapes, this is a dry Cava with a fruity nose that is of course, a natural for celebrations and special occasions - and it won't break the bank either.
