They only produced 3,500 bottles of this in 2007, so this is one to grab while you can. The first thing you'll notice is the delicate pink edge to the golden colour. It's also very aromatic, a gorgeous mix of tropical fruits (mostly pineapple and mango) and flowers on the nose, and rich and round at the mouth, with a long finish. Truly a wine for all the senses, and bold enough to match risotto, fish and white meat alike.
We really trust this producer and his wine. The winery is, quite simply, one of the best in Rioja. Riscal were the pioneers in this area and, from the very beginning, they have made some of the best whites in Rueda. This one is sharp, fresh and fruity with a predominant grape taste - exactly what you should expect from a white from Rueda. Superb aftertaste. Go for it!
This is the master piece of two ladies, owners and enologists of this house, who followed the passion that Mr. Jose Pariente had for this superb grape. Full expression of Verdejo, grand aromas of green and white fruits, dry, full and with a long after taste. A white to enjoy!
