A classic Gewurztraminer from Somontano - one of Spain's coolest wine regions, in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Bodegas Pirineos is one of the very few wine makers in Spain to work with Gewurztraminer and they make an excellent job of it. In German, the word 'gewurz' means 'spiced' - not a bad description for this wine.
