Light and soft. Very much a Merlot. Chill it, quite an experience!

Intense aromas and yet quite soft, like a good Merlot. This is one of the good wines of this house. Did you know that chilled Merlot goes very well with fish? Try it with pan fried sea bass, superb!

Artazuri Rose 2005

A crisp rose from the Grenache, or Garnacha, grape; the only grape for such an undertaking. A terrific wine from one of Spain's outstanding winemakers, it delivers all the taste of summer fruits to give a benchmark rose. Delicate, graceful and full of the soft aromas of raspberries - keep it in the chiller as a refreshing antidote to long hot summer days and a delightful glass to go with white fish grilled outside on the BBQ.

Castillo Perelada Rose 2005

Fresh and fruity, with those wonderful intense raspberry and strawberry aromas. An ideal summer wine, this is good Mediterranean rose made from a clever blend dominated by Grenache with Carignan and Tempranillo. The result? A perfect balance of red fruit aromas with good taste and even better aftertaste. This is the perfect rose to have lolling in the chiller when you've got some fresh fish to sear on the barbecue. Or try a glass with pan fried scallops, and a squeeze of lemon - close to heaven.

Castillo Perelada Blanc de Blancs 2007

A very fresh and pleasing white with a brilliant soft yellow colour that seems to capture the Mediterranean sunshine and reward you with the intense aroma of ripe white fruits. This is a superb Blanc de Blancs from Emporda-Costa Brava - the wine region in the northeast corner of Catalonia, separated from the French Roussillon region only by the French border. It has good acidity, a flowery edge, very good taste and a corner of bitterness. This won't disappoint and it will give any table you sit down to with a fish, paella or risotto dish, a place in the sun!
