Castillo Perelada Rose 2005

Fresh and fruity, with those wonderful intense raspberry and strawberry aromas. An ideal summer wine, this is good Mediterranean rose made from a clever blend dominated by Grenache with Carignan and Tempranillo. The result? A perfect balance of red fruit aromas with good taste and even better aftertaste. This is the perfect rose to have lolling in the chiller when you've got some fresh fish to sear on the barbecue. Or try a glass with pan fried scallops, and a squeeze of lemon - close to heaven.

Finca del Mar Chardonnay 2006

100% Chardonnay grape. Aromas of green fruit with the right amount of woody edge. Just right!!

A very correct Chardonnay from a very experienced wine producer. Green fruits and wood in a perfect balance. The kind of wine to enjoy both with food or just for an occasional drink.

Navaldar White 2008

El Coto White 2007

A really nice, quaffable white from a very well established red Rioja producer. Lots of life-enhancing ripe green fruits with a very long aftertaste. It's sharp and fruity, yet very soft at the palate. A wine with a crisp, fresh taste, which is exactly what you want from Viura. A highly drinkable, no nonsense wine to enjoy chilled with friends on a hot summer's day!

Blanc Pescador

Young, fresh, fruity and dry with a light, natural sparkle (what the Spanish call a 'vino de aguja' - needle wine!) Blanc Pescador is incredibly popular as a wine for a casual drink - and for good reason. It has a superb fruity aroma and taste. And it's the perfect wine to add a few drops of Creme de Cassis to for a delicious and inexpensive Kir Royale. Served well chilled, this beautifully light wine with its soft yellow colour is ideal for appetizers, shellfish and in fact all types of seafood - hence the name Blanc Pescador, which translates as 'white fisherman'.

El Coto Rose 2006

This lovely rose is fresh and dry with fruity aromas of strawberry, raspberry and grapefruit. Very pleasant to the palate it is light and a bit peppery with a good after taste. The half and half blend of Tempranillo and Grenache is cold fermented to intensify those fine fruit aromas. A bright, transparent pink, this crisp little wine is really refreshing and great for a casual drink - or try it with light impromptu dishes like chicken salad or fish soup.
