Navaldar White 2008

Campante White

A dry northern white with distinguishing Palomino notes, very fine and intense but not too fruity. The taste is very fresh with an edge of bitterness. Good with white fish.

This is a very nice blend of Palomino and Torrontes, two very distinctive grapes from this area. The wines from this D.O. are generally very soft and pleasant but not short of aromas and after taste. Superb value for money.

Orchidea 2008

Spanish Sauvignon Blancs often show greater complexity than the archetypal 'cat's pee on a gooseberry bush' associated with this grape, and this one is no exception. On the nose, intense and very complex floral aromas evolve into tropical fruits lime, pineapple, passion fruit. The colour is straw yellow, but look carefully and you'll pick up glints of green. It's fresh and dry with a very pleasant and long aftertaste. Great value for money too, which always helps.

Mistela Dessert Wine

A very different dessert wine, superb aromas of white flowers and butter. Long and elegant finish. Mistela is the classic dessert wine in Catalonia and the best Mistela comes from the area of Montsant-Priorat. What we have selected for you is one of the best examples of a white Mistela. Made of a blend of white Grenache and Macabeo, it has a very clean, straw colour and fine aromas of white flowers, butter and patisserie. The aftertaste is quite long and very elegant. Enjoy with desserts, chocolates, cheeses or, let's face it, anything sweet!
