A white wine that will please the most discerning palate. A lovely example of a blend of Muller Thurgau with Pinot Blanc which gives this wine the softness of aroma that is so much part of its personality. We particularly like the background of fresh nuts and the very long lasting taste. Goes down a storm as an aperitif and even better with food. Try it with fish, paella, a good chunky risotto or push the boat out and see how well it compliments Thai and Chinese food.
Fresh aromas and taste. White fruits. Excellent balance between alcohol and acidity. A pleasure! A very attractive straw colour and fresh aromas make this wine a classic Mediterranean white. The grape Xarel-lo is topped with small amounts of Perellada and Subirat Parent to round it up and results in a very pleasing wine.
The name 'Mas Comtal' translates as 'Court of the Count', referring to the family home of the Counts of Barcelona, to whom the present day farm estate belonged in the early 11th century. Here they have produced a very up to date white that's sharp and tasty with aromas of fresh herbs and tropical fruits. It's a very attractive straw colour with shades of light green. The aromas are clearly of tropical fruits and fresh garden herbs. The taste is very pleasant, with the Xarel-lo grape dominating and a slight nuttiness coming from the blend with Chardonnay. A really pleasant white!
